7-365 how happiness looks in our house on a saturday night

My beautiful babies at bedtime........having spent a lovely day with Auntie Momo at craigie farm one of our fave places to visit. The kids loved the hens and pigs and jumping in muddy puddles, the adults loved the food! How lovely after a busy day to get the wee ones all cosy and warm in bed for a cosy down.
THEN! sat night really begins

BBC4 new danish drama, not quite the Killing but still superior to any other sat night rubbish.

6-365 meet Dottie the happy Rabbit

We had a lovely evening making Dottie - she needs some work, but I'm happy with her. She will be going to her new home soon, happy days x

5 -365 productivity breeds happiness, hell yeah

No photo today - been too busy.
One of the things that makes me happy is lists, I have inherited this trait from my mum - wise woman that she is.

So today's list

Painted 2 radiators, woodwork in bathroom, the hall woodwork and walls.
Painted a blackboard on the wall in the hall for the kids - v cool.
Coloured my hair
Made chilli cheese cornbread - then ate half whilst painting
Put up a picture in the kitchen
Mopped all the downstairs floors
AND all the usual stuff, laundry, dishes, breakfast.

To finish off my highly productive day I'm going to continue knitting the purple 40's jumper.

No children were harmed during said productivity - All the above was only possible because wee ones spent the day with grandma and grandad, xxxx

One of my current projects, the great pattern book was a christmas pressie from Aunti Momo, I love it and want to knit most things in it, but have started (finally after 1 1/2 of fannying around....note knitwits how  much more i knitted) with a wee purple 40's jumper - I'm sure the finished article will appear soon.

 

 

3-365 happiness, it's the little things

My wee mini Haha, she is so little and how did I get to day 3 and only just put her photo up? She is so adorable and is growing into a quirky humoured cheeky wee soul.

As i said it is the little things.........a shower sans kids - dad down stairs making dinner - even managed to shave my legs! Dr Broners is  happiness in a bottle - as it says on the label  it is Magic soap.

2/365 happy things

Apologies for the awful photos - Every year at xmas my mum and dad buy something for Alfie, this year it was the above, a school starter pack. I love that he is remembered  at xmas along with his brother and sister he also gets a pressie in his memory. I know its coming and yet every year I cry - bitter sweet tears.

XXXXX How awesome to have such an amazing set of parents, Pug and  I are blessed with their support and love.

1/365 THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY

My wee big man......this is his photo for nursery. I can't believe he is going so soon, how did that happen? Where has the last 3 years gone? Starting my 365 photos for 2012 with my rainbow child - he brings happiness everyday after the many many rains of our tears.
If anyoen else wants to add photos in comments of their rainbow kids, that's be lovely.
I plan on posting a photo a day for 2012 - big plans huh! got to keep positive and look to a future filled with laughter, cuddles and joy, never forgetting my 1st born boy Alfie - everyday of my life I think of you, I carried you, i made you, our bodies were one - my cells must have a memory of you, which is why  some days my body aches for you. The beginning of another year without you is always hard. Tomorrows photo is for you xxxxxxx
